Import car from norway

I`m on the look for other S2 but i´m find it hard to finde one(that I like), so I starte looking in sweden, germany, denmark and so on. Then I starte to look in norway, but there is some thing about the tax system in norway if i´m not mistaken, that they pay tax (like we do in denmark 180% of the cars value) But if I wante to sale a car from denmark to germany I would get some of the tax bag from the Government.

But how dos it work in norway ?

Because 180.000 nkr for an S2 (plus danish tax) might be a little over my budget.

Hi. Here in Norway cars have import tax based on either Co2 + Bhp+weight or Bhp+weight+ engine volume. depending on the age(they use the co2 for newer cars)

Just to give an example;

Audi Rs6 2004
Price in Germany 20 000 Euro
Sales tax. 5000 Euro
Tax for weight. 18500 Euro
tax for Bhp 70000 Euro
Tax for Co2. 60000 Euro

The you kan deduct a percentage of the taxes depending on the cars age. in this example the car is 7 years and that gives you a deduction of 65%. That is about 80 000 euro.

So final price registered here will be

Around 90 000 Euro...

if you export an already "Norwegian" car you will not get any tax back i'm afraid

I really hate the tax system....
