    Crank locking tool

I am considering doing the cambelt on my ABY. Does anyone have a locking tool I could borrow? The car has aircon.

Best fast and no time taking way is big screwdriver in hole between engine e and gearbox and stick it in flywheel gearing for starter ask somebody to hold and undo everything you want

For those who will tel its not write it will broke gearing etc etc Try and you will see how easy its working and that you no need to put any pressure on screwdriver Just take big one

I did it whit lots and lot off cars worked every time

get a strong bar on the crank pulley, crank the car quickly, smash the strong bar on the floor, get a new pulley as the locator will be ripped off then its £30 for a new pulley, plenty cheaper lol

What Val said, 2" box also works with one side cut out and something to grab it.

Make sure whatever you use has a thick enough wall, 2" box, 5mm wall worked ok for me. Thin stuff just twisted up.

i took mine off 2 days ago with a piece of 2'' box section and a pair of stilsons. I was a bit worried at how easily it came off after looking at the huge bars people have been using. I only used a 1.5ft Tbar with 1'' drive socket.
