my horn has stopped working and all my fuses are all ok, where do i start?? find the horn and trace all wires back?? ps where is the horn on teh car lol
Horns are infront of the passenger side front wheel, tucked up behind the bumper. If you look from below you will see the fan resistor pack, metallic blue colour metal bracket, the horns are mounted just above it.
Looking at the wiring diagram here http://www.s2central.net/S2_Schematics/B/B50-13.pdf relay J4 is for the dual horns, power supply comes through fuse S3 (25Amp). I would start by checking the fuse obviously, then the contact at the steering wheel to see if it is working, just twist the centre of the wheel to unclip it. Shorting it to ground should trigger the relay, note it only works after the ignition has been on with the key still in the ignition. I remind myself of that every time i take the wheel off Not sure how you remove an Airbig wheel, have never had one of them apart but i think there are screws on the back of it.
If all that works then move onto the relay position and check its getting power on the input side, then bridge the input and output pin with a piece of wire to test the rest of the wiring and horn units.
The fact both horns have stopped working suggests to me the problem is around the relay, either not getting power or not been triggered by the switch.
