Bonnet cable grommet

Hey guys

After having spent ages sorting out leaks into the car (S2 avant) I thought I had it cracked (Pardon the pun)!!! Anyway at the weekend I came back to the car on sunday after a heavy downpour to find a fair sized puddle in the drivers footwell. After much searching I have realised the grommet where the bonnet release cable goes through the rain tray is actually split open. Anyone know if these are easy to replace and if the part is still available and if so the part number? I reckon I may then have a totally water tight car!!!! I have been looking forward to this for years since purchasing her.

If the part is NLA anyone have any suggestions for repairs? Lots of Silicon....?

They were available a couple of years ago reasonably cheap from Audi dealer. Make sure its the right size as there seem to be a couple of different sizes as I discovered here -->http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39328
Part No. 893 823 591 A if the hole is about 30mm diameter or No. 357 823 591 if about 18mm diameter.

Easy replacement job - just have to detatch the cable from the bonnet catch end and pull it out of the bodywork until you can slip the grommet over it.
