Would this happen only when comes onto over 1 bar boost? Where is the heater fan located so I can pay attention to it next time I make it happen.

Just a quick Q to you all, is there a way of testing the inside lines for leaks? Ie can I pressurize them at all anyway to listen for leaks in vac or boost hoses in the car?

If you have a powerful enough air compressor you can pressureise the whole system from the MAF to turbo hose. Obvioulsy, there are leaks on the cylinders but the rest of the system can be checked.

I had a whistle on my car on boost it drove me made trying to find,in the end I took them all of and found the culpret. There is a plastic pipe that gos from the junction on the maf to the small hose it has a 90% bend,I overtightend the clamp and caused it to crease out of shape just enought to create a little v and whistle under boost.
This is an easy thing to check and worth eliminating before you go any futher

Maybe talking about the N75 or breather? The breather isn't under boost but one side of the N75 - the small line from the turbo - is.

Plastic link hose only exists on the 3B as part of connection to DV.

Think it is a boost leak again. Doh! Just been playing with jubilees and it's not whistling now mind you it's raining so when I drove it hard I could mainly hear rain so will try again when it stops rainig and listen harder.

Anyway little boost hoses.... Anyone know where the yellow one is routed to when it comes out if the ecu? It seems to go towards the passenger door for some reason? Also on the inside of the engine bay is a yellow and a pinky coloured couple of solid hoses that go throughout the bulkhead into the car. Anyone know where they go or the rout they take.

I am lucky that the previous owner or mr nugget has fitted a small Samco hose from the solid yellow one to the ecu on the inside ( the one I was saying foes towards passenger door and almost towards the back of the car)

                    Suggestions greatfully recieved.

                    Thanks

They take vacuum and boost through to the ECU, vacuum reservior and subsequently to the diff lock. Use small cable ties to seal these

Ok, already sealed with small cable ties by previous owner. He put short sections of silicon hosing on them and into the ecu so that is one job saved for me. Can these solid lines be replaced with silicon stuff or is it better to leave them as they are or renew with more solid stuff?

Not sure what their role is but worth inspecting and replacing them, if they're damaged. Stiff walled pipe might be best to replace them with.

Thing is I dont think they are damaged but worth looking closer at anyway. Thanks for that
