    Turbo question

    Hi guys,
I am currently getting bits for my winter build project and was just wondering if that if I were to use a twin scroll type turbo would it work as intended for big power or am I wasting my time with these?
Im aiming for 500whp so any info will be great for me as im doing al the fabrication myself and dont want to make a load of scrap.
    Cheers Herm

You can't run a twin scroll turbo on the i5 engine because of the cylinder number although I would like to see something like this with 3 cylinders on o e scroll and 2 on the other just out of curiosity.

Most people knife edge the divider and run it as single scroll.

Btw I have a nice turbo for such a project.

I used with a HX35/40 hybrid a knife edged one but i bought a manifold. If you make one then you can try it out.

What manifold did you use? I have a few designs now for manifolds and im looking to rev the motor hard with antilag for good measure :mischeif: so lengths and angles all work together and i dont want any cracking on the ex/side of the turbo.
