Easiest way to spot is to look at the tag plates, Garret doesn't even use these tags, these are bad BorgWarner cloned tags:


Would i buy it? No, but some folks with Mitsu DSM's use china crap and seem to get some descent performance and lifespan from them

this alfa romeo use china **** turbo for a few years, without any problem. when he bought turbo (300$) , they rebuilt it with new bearings , and balanced it..
this alfa get to 10 second car on 402 street race. was in final race with audi s4 (800+hp).. and alfa win !

rebulding the turbocharger in Serbija cost from 200-300 euro .. and job what this guys done is perfect. I could say - the BEST thurbocharger service in EUROPE !

if someone looks for cheap turbos there are good options so instead of making fun of them I would like to share info.

I will not buy china turbo.. don't want to spend money on some turbo , and take a risk that I will loose 400 euro or more.
I use CT or garrett on my projects. but this guy with alfa 145 decide to go on high power on other way. I would lie if I say that I didn't thing "why my customers give 1000euro for CT or Garrett , if they can have same power with China turbo + rebuilt for 500 euro" ...
thay also asked me that..
my answer always was that China turbo is good now , but they will not run for a 7-10 years , like turbo which cost 1000 or more euro..

don't blame me ... ok? china is not my option , and will newer be.

if Herm want to try China turbo, he can .. , but I give them an option what to do if something go wrong..
