Does anybody else find the new site (once you eventually register) a real PITA to use?

You can't even choose your own user name. I don't use it now either, crap compared to the old one. ECP or go into the store...AUDI - saving Dad's from minivans since 1994

They've never been helpful instore for me anyway.
If I provide an audi or bosch part number they just tend to say, sorry there is no GSF part number for that. They can't or wont try to source one for you.Angus

GSF special order a lot of stuff for our cars now, depends on the branch and who you talk to and helpfull if you have an inside man :mischeif:Comment

Yep the new website is utter toss, but i have totally lost faith in GSF parts, they are all Chinese knock-offs
To be fair I always found the Birmingham main depot staff really helpful, all the satelite branches seem to be full of ******s though :corey:Panthero Coupé quattro 20vt

To be fair to my local (Plymouth) branch, in store I find them to be very helpful and I much prefer the in store experience at GSF to ECP. They always have plenty of counter staff so I never have to wait. At ECP there is usually only one staff member on the counter but what seems like hundreds sat at desks behind the window!! However the ECP website is far superior and very easy to use.
A great deal of parts they sell are indeed cheap chinese rubbish but this is the same with both stores. I find that GSF are more helpful when I ask about the brand of a part and they often offer a better quality but obviously more expensive option.'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.Comment
