How to get these to fit

    Hey guys

I am looking at my winter wheels for this year and have been offered by my brother a set he has. I need to get them to fit my S2 Avant that has been lowered 30 mm.

They are off an Audi A3 apparantly and are 17's. 7.5J et56. I offered one on to the back and the tyre catches on the bar ( not sure what it is) inside the arch. They need new tyres anyway so whatr size would I need to get in order to get them on the car and to not scrub the arch at all?

Also Im assuming spacers? How thick?

    Thanks guys
    Chris

Sorry should mention they are the correct bolt pattern as he had them on his T4 and before he had these he put my avus' on it to see what they looked like so I know the bolt pattern is correct.

Aha, thanks. Does that mean longer wheel bolts or will mine be ok? Also what tyre size would you suggest as I think they have 225, 45 17 on atm and was thinking maybe sticking with that or would I have to go to a 205?

225/45/17 are bang on and a popular size so the prices aren't too bad, if you go for a 205 they are more expensive trust me I've checked for the VRs as that had 205/50/17's on which only a Mondeao and the Skoda run so they are very expensive. I'm putting 225/45/17 on next. You will need longer bolts with 20mm spacers.
Just some finishing touches to do now
