Hi all thought would share my good luck news. Just picked up a set of 5 ronal boleros (A8 sports) with tyres for £140! Useable but need a Refurb as a bit tatty but not that bad tbh.

What size tyre do i need to get them on the avant which is lowered 30mm. Also what sized spacers and bolts do I need? I have standard brakes all round.

I just missed out on a set of s8's for £200 so was rather pleases when these turned up.

Nice buy ! Someone was lucky with the S8s.

In my mind,

Ronal Boleros = Boleros 8 x 17 and so 225 x 45 x 17

A8 Sports = A8 Sports 8 x 18 and so 225/40/18

You'll need spaces, wider at the front than the back. Bambridge should be able to supply and advise.

You also need to post the ET of the A8 Sports and others can advise accordingly.

Others can also confirm if the wheel sizes and tyre comments are correct.

Are boleros and A8 sports different? I thought they were the same? They 7 spoke 18" rims. Same as the rims in the for sale thread down below.

I may be in with luck then as they have 245/45 on.

A8 sports for defo then! Just been looking at big lees avant pics as that's what mine will look like. Same colour except normal front grill. Have to say can't wait!

Cheers rob. I have to say it is all Lees fault. I love the look of his with them so I know what mine will look like and know I will love it.

Just gotta save for tyres and a Refurb but am in no rush as it's the wrong time of year to put em on.

I only just missed the S8's too and found these just as the eBay thing was running out so phoned the guy and did a deal and the best bit was he only lived 10 mins away from me!
