Finally got my S2 out on the road, and for a decent trip, donegal to Killarney, total 465km, using 48.67 lts on the downward trip. Think this works out at 10.71 gallons, and 288.90 miles, which should equate to about 27mpg. As only 30 miles was on the motorway, and average speed worked out at 52 mph (garmin !!), am quite pleased with the result - would this be average, car has 266k on the clock (KM's not miles), which is accuarate - although has had a full engine rebuild at 253. Havn;t looked at the return journey yet, as came back on Sunday, and had a slower return leg, so mpg might be better as tank not empty yet. Thought I'd share this, as often wondered what the mpg would be. Many thanks to Pete from the quattro corner, who has helped with all the suspension parts so far.
