    what are these for?

Hoping someone might know the answer, what are these for?

I'm rebuilding stuff on my car and wondered what/where they go?

    Thanks

are they the bushes that fit the 6-speed gear linkage?

If the car runs without them they obviously aren't needed

I can't say that I have ever seen those on an RS2 before. Are you sure they are from the RS2? No part number on them either I guess.

Here you go, it is the bush that fits into the 6 speed linkage. I took this pic when I had one apart.

Amazing bit of detective work guys. Well impressed.

Question now is, why are they not on my car?

Is it possible that they're not needed if running the TerryBullWon bush?

Yes, eyesight is fine, but I did have a nasty taste of brake fluid for the rest of the day

Note to self...never cut the pipe connected to the bomb if you don't know whether it's still holding pressure

Sorry for bringing this thread back up, but I'm in big need of 2 of those bushes. Does anyone have a partnumber for them please? thanks!

I lost one during replacement of my slave cylinder, and now the shift is very sloppy. Unfortunately Terrybullwon doesn't have bushes left.
