Miltek & a map is what a stock RS2 needs... you're looking at ~ÂŁ5-800 region to do exhaust and a hi-boost MRC map or equivalent, which will give you an extra 50hp and 100ft/lb in the mid-range. Really will transform the car. So I wouldn't worry if it's been done or not, it's an easy quick upgrade.
Steve's silver one that's for sale... if I were looking for an RS2 again, I'd have bought that by now. Looks mint, had lots of money spent, Big Red brake upgrade too.AUDI - saving Dad's from minivans since 1994

Its Al
only joshing call me what you like
If you are coming from a standard 132 or even a tuned 200+bhp Escort RST a standard 315 bhp RS2 will feel quick. A good remap and zorst, as Ross mentioned, is enough to see 350-360 which is enough for most people.... but i found it lost the cars character somewhat becoming somewhat more linear and RS4 like...smooth and not as raw in a way. I sort of prefered the standard car with its on/off turbo but then i am old`er` and boring

My RS2 had a cat back Miltek and an MRC generic map (theres only one by the way, no high boost / low boost)
I bought it with AMD chips but it was never running right due to boost leaks.
After i fixed all that and replaced the chips it made a huge difference.. Even though the AMD chips had it up to 390HP proven by the dino plot. That was on stock exhaust and IC.
I would defiantly recommend getting it mapped and upgrading the exhaust.
Theres a few things NLA on these cars so bake sure you check it over properly beforehand and if you find bits of trim or sills missing enquire in to replacements as its most likely that they will be NLA. I'm not suggesting any of the ones on here are missing bits but just speaking out of experience..91 S2 coupé - RIP

But Iv had a big turbo escos with some minor tweaks for 4 years, I'm guessing it would be similar to a standard 315.
On off turbo is where it's at!Big C

Was this on a standard turbo?

Make sure the cup1's are oe and not reps. reps are softer and will buckle easier.
Check electricals, mirrors, windows, sunroof, motors for adjusable headlights, aircon, autocheck system, speakers oe ones could have packed up, sticker in spare wheel well, with details of car vin number paint codes and the like. If it's missing could of had paint.
As mentioned more and more parts are going NLA, which is a ****ing disgrace, but these old car's don't make Audi any money, so that's that
If I was buying another I'd be looking at purchasing from a forum member, you pick up so much info on members cars if you follow the forum on a regular bases.
who's a good guy, with a sound car.
If theres enough members saying it's a good car, then it usually is.
The best RS2's are those that haven't been messed with IMO, then you know your starting out with an original. After that do as you will:mischeif:
Receipts for parts, and work done is a deffo.
If you do buy one that has been modded make sure it's been tastefully done, and to a high standard.
Good luck.
