Audi S6 front wings vs RS6 front wings.

Is there a difference between these two? I am having a debate on a swedish forum with a "know it all", and i say that the RS6 wings are a little bit wider than the S6, but he refuses to agree with me. So i´ll call in the experts. Is there a difference between them or are the S6 and A6 4,2 as beefy as the RS6 except for the sills beeing wider on the RS6?

4.2 and rs are the same. Much wider than the stock or s6 wings

Thanks. Does help abit, but the wierd ting is that it states that all A6 quattros/S6 and RS6 have the same wings... But if you look at an S6 and a normal A6 2,7 BiT quattro you can clearly see a difference in beefyness.

C5 rs6 was based on the 4.2 v8, slightly longer than the lower spec a6s. The front wings and sills are slightly flared ,also bonnet & wings are aluminium. HTH

The question still remains though. Does The S6 and thr RS6 share the front wings?

It's already been answered a few times, yes the C5 S6 and RS6 have the same body

the 2.7t A6 for instance got the smaller shaped body. I looked into a while back when thinking of doing an A6 2.7t RS6 body car.

According to my friend, Kate, the friendly parts person, who is working the weekend, the C5 front fender (wing) part numbers are

4B0821105B/106B = the left/right fenders (wings) for the C5s with 4 and 6 cylinder engines

4B3821105C/106C = the left/right fenders (wings) for the C5s with V8 engines

Then to try to trick her, I asked about the RS6 fenders, say from 2005 and lo and behold same 4B3821105C/106C.

Are your ones rotten or just a bit scabby? If you are fitting new ones could you give me a shout before you bin them as I have some ideas to try with 100s4 arches.
