Rs200 kit cars?

Kara are supposed to be the best, don't know if they still make them. There was another company doing them with scooby engines a couple of years ago.

Ask James (johnnybravo) he should know. I thought the kara ones were based on sierras with chassis and running gear from them?

I know that SPD in Stourbridge did the one that was based on the sierra xr4x4 engine and running gear as to the Banham one that was based on the maestro.
I seem to remember that the moulds went missing for the body panels and turned up on a barge in London somewhere
Then they seemed to disappear for a while.

Cheers Chris. Sadly were only dealing with the real thing which are mentally expensive to build.... Or rebuild I should say

I don't know much about the reps, I've seen the maestro one and it's crap, there are several that use yb's and another that has all the Subaru bits bolted to it but the engine is sat it the wrong place

The biggest issue with the rear enginned converted ones is finding a suitable gearbox, we picked up a FFD last week and that and the transfer box alone is getting on 10k

A friend of mine is building his up from a restored tub, everything is either new, remanufactured or restored. I suspect it's going to end up wrapped in cotton wool tbh as he will be too afraid to use it.

I'll ask him about the kit cars, no doubt he will frown at me lol

i know im scum but MUST have one of these kits, been chasing them since 2005 and companys go out of business so quick its unbeliveable!
