I enjoyed reading this... a good honest article. I never did have any passion for drag-strip racing but after taking a rental car out on the salt flats a few years ago I must admit I see the appeal - it's a strange sensation, nothing like tarmac! All I'll say is vMAX + 1/2 turn opposite lock =

very interesting read and I like the fact that he's prepared to speak about the engine if your interested and just need to contact him. Surprised it was not on a dry sump but then again probably needed more on a circuit car than a straight line, but probably getting some cavitation (I think its called) of the oil.
