I actually work for a International & National mail handling company
We use 90% of ALL the courier services
When I want to send anything (personally ) I use UK Mail ! Top of the list for me and at the bottom I would say Yodel/TNT !
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

I use to use parcel2go but after having issues with yodel and failed collection and the customer support is just awful , so went with www.p4d.co.uk , best by far and better price , dont charge fee for using paypal either , citylink has been the most consistent for me

Even though I can't stand them for 15kg parcelforce probably have the best deal

afterthat I tend to use DHL mainly via parcel2go or interparcel

I'd also avoid Paisley freight / wheelcarrier. They've wasted alot of my time, totally unprofessional outfit IMO.

Don't use parcel2go anymore as their claims service is cr4p despite paying extra ni compensation ever.

Yodel is the worst service ever.

Interparcel seems to be working best for me for sending cylinderheads and other items around 20-30kg using citilink, ups etc...

hmmm wonder if some areas of the country are worse for the couriers?

I've used parcel2go's customer services live chat with no issue's countless times if I needed to change anything and never once had an issue, always quick results.

Are they both the same outfit? The amount of trouble I had with wheelcarrier you wouldn't belive, totally incompetent, not even able to copy and paste an address.

                    MyHermes ....Oh dear

For large items avoid MyHermes at all costs.

It took them 3 weeks to deliver an exhaust, I could have walked to the seller and dragged it back home on a cart in less time

Domestically, I've always had good service from Citylink and DPD. UPS and Fedex I have found are fast and reliable when sending abroad, esp to the US.

For me - APC for a specific large UK parcel we ship that no other UK carrier will take - FedEx for UK and International Exports - UPS and UPS SCS for Imports.
A couple of years ago we went to Yodel .... seemed pretty good, but they backed down from the contract THEY had written. Yodel are basically a re-badged HDNL (Home delivery network) who then bought DHL domestic. We will never ever ever ever ever contact them again after the time they wasted with us. :corey:
But then good things come from bad - it made us find a truly decent company, FedEx.

If you are serious about shipping you need to get an account and you should only go with one of the big boys, the ones that run everything (Have their own drivers, their vans, their own planes)
