Need An Air Con Compressor !

Can anyone help, I've just laid out money for it to be re-gassed but its not kicking in, the engineer thinks it may be the compressor, I'm going to have an electrician look at it soon in case there's a loose wire or something but likelihood is I will need a replacement compressor. S2 aby coupe 94

    Thanks
This was my boss and I know for a fact if he was around today he would be driving a sick ABY armour plated S2 1500 bhp....

You need to check there's power going to the compressors clutch first and if so can you buy that on its own if there's no power there check the gas low pressure switch

                Yes mate

They are a pretty big player in the re-manufacture of compressors for all sorts of applications, really know their stuff.

Ill be taking a trip to see them shortly to get re-gassed.

if you wouldn't mind asking wha tthe current rate is for a re-manufacture, that would be great....

sorry to hijack you thread Frank....

I would do some basic checks before you splash out on a new compressor.
I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but a new compressor wouldn't work here.

Check the ambient temperature is above 5°C for a start.
