power engineering uxbridge experience

Went to power engineering in uxbridge yesterday for a power run. Great bunch, all the workshop lads came running in to look when it was at full song on the rollers
I guess bar the focus st they don't hear a 5 pot very often.

Made 329.9hp 496nm on a dyno dynamics.
Very conservative ignition map and boost held back at low rpm to save rods from the mid range high boost this turbo can make.

said that i prob picked a good day for it being so cold so maybe on a summers day it might not do as well and he showed me industry standard correction factor of 90% in the software meaning it actually put down another 10%. I didn't think to ask why at the time.
Just to give an all weather average figure instead?

All in all a great experience and pleased with the place and the result.

There's another 60 bhp to be had at least out of that setup, great baseline though

You should not be holding boost back on the 3071 for stock rods it doesn't really generate near 600-650nm at low rpm to be worried about it IMO

What kind of torque does a remapped rs2 make at 3500rpm?

Thats with 1.75 bar redline too so most plots I've seen this usually shows around 400hp. Can ignition make that much difference or is that correction factor business true?

At surrey rolling roads also a DD. 1.4bar on stock ECU RS2 stock exhaust and stock ABY intake on a stock head etc... I saw a 3071 produce 418hp so definitely another 60ponies to be found there.

As for the correction factor it is my understanding that the extra cold temps produced more power than the recognised industry standard testing conditions benchmark so the software has worked out that in theory at standard testing conditions it would produce the power you were given.(approx 18celsius iirc)
