You boys are going to think i'm a right traitor now...
Best thing about that 1 series is the colour , I had one as a loan loan car last year but a derv version, drove great, nippy little thing but just felt cheap inside..
Found some good pictures of the new F20 model with the M-Sport pack - one thing i will say is that the front end of the car looks far better in real life IMO, not sure why but any pictures i've seen of the cars don't look good. Too many angles.
The SE and Urban models look pretty grim as well, i don't think i'd be buying one of these without the sportier looking M-Sport pack.
Sorry mate but the new 1 series makes the old 1 series look almost acceptable and the old 1 series was fugly. The new X1, now that's fugly too. BMW have gone a bit off form at the moment IMO - X6, 5 series GT. Yuk.

I've seen them in real life and I have to say I felt a little nauseous. As for the turd brown X1 I saw the other day... I was sick in my mouth. I really want to like the 1 series, as I loved my E30 and would love to have something small and RWD but even with the 123d and 135i, it's more of a head over heart affair.
Funnily enough though, the 1M looks the nuts. Funny how some 1980's wide arches and massive wheels improved it all

I really like the 1-series, also the old ones too. These models are like the more you look at them, the nicer they look, but M-sport pack is a must on these. Have been tinking of buying one some day, but on the other hand I usually need more overall space.

You're confused with the 1 series convertible... 1M, hairdressers' car? If you say so
Isn't the 1M a 1 series coupe? Which i can't help look at and think "hairdresser", much like the z4 in standard trim.
The 1M clearly isn't a hairdressers car, exceptions to every rule and all that, unless the hairdresser in question is a real go-er.

I agree. The 1 does have quite a bit of boot-room when you lay the seats flat, for a small hatch anyway... the through-load option makes things easy to get too as well from the cabin
