    Bilstein locking spanner needed.

Hi, can somebody give me a link to locking spanner.

It's for a Bilstein sport front damper on my RS2.

The nut I want to release is the lower one that attaches the strut into the strut housing.
Has two slots on top of it.

    Cheers for any info.

Done a bit more homework on this.
Gland nut is the nut I need to remove, and here's a pic of the type of tool I need.

Any suggestions as to wher i can get on e of these tools, or something that will do the job just as well.

    Ta.

Cheers Johne, I might take you up on that.

I'd have thought quite a few forum members would of had some links for this tool, and where to buy.

I used a large stilson wrench to remove this on my S2.

Well the gland nut is off
A mate lent me one of these C spanners, I put a long lever bar on it and instant result.

Thanks to all offers of help and suggestions.
