ABY / RS2 / AAN - FPR, do they look like this?

I have an RS2 FPR here - know the pressures are different, but I would have expected the little pipe to be parallel to the ground, not coming out at an angle like that...

Should it look like this as I don't have another to compare it to...!

    Thanks

Normally they are straight, not curved.

Do you have another photo showing the Bosch PN? In the meantime, here is some 7A/3B/AAN/ABY/ADU fuel pressure regulator info (with PNs):

Looks like it's bent but that won't affect operation as long as it's still sealed - suck it and see

Says 3.8 bar and looks like it will physically fit. The return it only a push on and hose clip affair anyway isnt it, shouldnt make any difference.

It's just the vacuum / boost reference line so no fuel goes through that part, only air pressure is applied

I would be suspect of the pressure rating value being correct. The FPR pictured has suffered physical damage. After installing, check the fuel pressure with the line disconnected & connected to see if the pressure values are within specification. Also, with the vacuum line disconnected there should be no fuel coming from the vacuum fitting on the regulator. I would not try to straighten the little pipe as it could break off. BTBT

                Thanks everyone...!

So, the little pipe is bent - but seems to be structurally ok, its the pipe itself, not kinked where it joins the body......

Rusty.... I'll send it to you, you can check it for pressure - clearly was a 3.8 BAR one, hope it still is...!
