    car dolleys/trolleys etc

    Evening chaps,

what could i use to put the shell of an s2 on to keep it mobile in a small single garage?
I have seen car dolleys F1 style that you can place under the wheels etc but I want to remove all running gear etc.
I was looking on ebay and came accross.....wait for it.....Snooker table trolleys! Look Pretty heavy duty and on heavy duty wheels.Just want to wheel it in and out of the garage to work on.
Anyone else been there and done it before?

A couple of square bars bolted to where the subframes mount with castors on the end could be cheap and cheerfully.

I m watching a pair of dolleys on eBay
Gonna buy wheels n copy design
Using pneumatic wheels do can go over rough ground/ kerbs etc, small wheels get stuck

anyone ever thought about screwing dolleys into the shell? Daft as it may seem the car will end up down the scrap yard anyway and the casters are well cheap-even heavy duty ones like on supermarket trolleys

They should have been around £120 each.

If you want to move a shell my advice is go down sainsburys and get a few of the trolley's, remove the top with a grinder and chuck inside the car so you could get it a bit more when you weigh it in and use them, if you have access to a welder get them welded together for stability.

if sainsbury's is like swindon atm they've got around 40 trolley's making a maze style route going into the petrol station, right pita that was earlier today.
