    pistonheads/autotrader

Just wondering you guys thoughts on piston heads / autotrader sales.

I havent really put any major effort into selling the avant and was thinking of listing it on those sites but im not really up for untold phonecalls with ridiculous offers etc.

whats everyones experiences of those 2 for sales?

I have bought and sold from PH. If you can reach the required audience, it is better than ebay and AT by miles. Less ********s, idiots, scammers and cat data type companies.
If you can't sell via PH then you may have to consider AT then ebay in that order.

However for a niche car I don't think you can beat PH.

My cabriolet is currently on PH but I haven't had any interest after 4 days. On the plus side, because I have been a member since before 2009 I get to place premium ads for free. Autotrader will be a last resort due to all unwanted calls it seems to generate and eBay is definitely a much better place to buy cars than sell them.

Dunno bout Gumtree myself, but I bought my S2, 3 yrs ago on Pistonheads- I haven't sold anything-yet-but if I do have to, int' future, I'll definitely give PH a try first.
