No UK petrol stations are owned by the petrol companies they have no incentive to sell it at the expense of their own fuel plus the goverment make too much tax on normal fuel
I wouldn't mind but it's a very clean fuel, I've seen reports of cars with no cats running as clean with cats and passing MOT's. Plus it give a lot better power.
I'll ask my fuel suppliers at work on Wednesday if its is available anymore, if it is i can get it by the 1000ltr at trade if anyone has a doubled bunded tank to store it in

As ethanol percentages decline the longer it stays mixed with fuel the pump stuff varied in quality through the life of its stock relative to tank levels and how soon after a tanker had refilled.
Now being able to buy it in bulk in small sealed containers to mix as your own additive that's an appealing idea as it will remain a lot more consistent in quality as I even notice the shelf life difference on Tesco99 which has only a small percentage content so I've send them a trade enquiry
I would have thought that it would be better to just get some toluene instead of ethanol.
Ethanol has a lower calorific value than petrol but toluene has a higher value so it will produce more power than petrol and it has an octane rating of 121 so you can run lots of advance like you can with ethanol giving even more power still.
The old turbo F1 cars ran 86 % toluene and made 1500hp running 5 bar boost on a 1500cc engine in qualifying. They used to drop this back to 4 bar and 1200hp for the race for reliability .
Lots of people run toluene mixed with petrol and I'm sure you can get 99.9 % pure toluene from paint suppliers for less than £2 a litre.
