Sonic has a crazy set-up, he bought my speakers and sub and just added it to his system...
    Had to be done...

IIRC my 5140 fronts became my rears and your 5140's with the better tweeters went up-front and became active, the 5150 went back for a recall and came back sounding like satan banging a bass drum

If you can give me my usb drive back i can update your music collection as well.

Ahh, you need an upgrade to understanding wife v2.0 - mine used to mmoan about the rats nest behind the tv and lan cables everywhere, latest upgrade appears to have fixed that

Same here - I remember buying my first amp, a Cyrus when they first came out, 1988 ? with an Aiwa ADF880 tape deck, NAD record deck and some BW speakers (DM220's I think). I've now got a 1m digital cable worth twice as much as all that kit put together
I've been playing the upgrade path ever since, buy-sell-buy-sell - climbing that ladder, where the wrungs get further apart and the gaps between them cost four figures.

Current system, bought from eBay, Audiogon, CanuckAudio Mart over the past 10 years with big leaps and bounds over the past 18 months :

        Krell KPS 20t Transport
Krell Reference 64 Signature Series DAC
x2 Krell Bridged-Mono KBL pre amps (one volume per speaker)
x2 Krell KMA 100 Mono amps (Originally owned by Lord March, Goodwood)
Tara Labs (Audio/Speaker) reference cables throughout
        Furutech/Oyaide power plugs and cables
        PS Audio P600 power station
Kef Reference 107.2 Raymond Cooke Series
Kef Reference LS3/5A Raymond Cooke 35th Anniversary

            Not quite - clever buying
Hi-Fi and the pursuit of the sound becomes a hunger, much like torque with our cars ... never enough.
i like the sound is good in the same way as I like my RS2 ... that's not to say I wouldn't mind a Sport ... there's that feckin upgrade ladder again
