Question for different car - replica RS2 question

    Hi there,
I feel the need for a new car in the next few months. Want an RS2 (who doesnt) but cant raise the cash...

    I have a 1997 a4 avant quattro tdi mildly modded and a S2 powered 90 quattro. Oh, and a 2003 suzuki gsxr 1000.

Does anyone know of a RS2 rep for sale, or perhaps a S2 and then convert it to a replica? would probably convert to LPG as it will be a commuter vehicle.

    Many thanks for your advice.

for what you'd pay for an rs2 rep (ross's old one was the best i've seen) you'd be better off making david on here an offer for his rs2 as he might be interested in what you can offer.

If Ross is the burgundy one, that would do me fine. Sorry, david? Whats he got?

Don't try and build a replica, I'm trying to build an RS2 saloon replica simply because buying one would be next to impossible. I started with the intention to gather parts almost a year ago as it was always a long term project which I intend to do alongside others. Now I have a lot less money, a tiny fraction of the parts I need and a lot of time wasted with people who agree to sell me something and then stop replying to messages. It is a massive waste of time and money and I just hope that at some point I can say it was worthwhile. As you can buy an RS2 Avant I would suggest that you save up and buy one, it will be cheaper and quicker.
