Anyone travelling Aberystwyth to Banbury area or near?

I've bought a set of wheels on ebay that are in Aberystwyth and I need to get them home to the Banbury area.

Is anyone planning to make a similar trip anytime soon?

The guy I've bought them off lives quite close to a DHL depot but DHL direct are extortionate and the resellers won't allow drop off at the depot for some reason. I've tried a few courier companies who can't guarantee that the driver will phone ahead so that the guy can go home when they collect. I can't find any couriers that will collect on a Saturday without charging lots. So it's looking like collecting in person is going to be the easiest option, which is a 300 mile round trip.

So if anyone from the area was going to be making the trip anyway that'd be a great help.

For anyone that's interested, the wheels are Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's

Try http://www.shiply.com/index5.php - They all place bids for your business and usually there will be a small business operating a lone transit van, on a return trip and will willing to work all the arrangements out with you.

Cheers for the suggestion, I did try shiply, got one quote for £60 + £10 fee, which I thought was a bit much.

Sorted now though, managed to arrange to get the guy to take them to work with him so they can be collected via Paisley freight who do a specialist service for £28 inc vat. Hopefully they'll collect them without any problems tomorrow.

Delivered today via Paisley freight, excellent service via TNT.

Now to fit the wheels. :mischeif:

Just weighed them and with 7mm of tyre they weigh in at 19Kg.
