Blow through MAF pics and experience please

i know its mostly good feedback from blow through MAF`s,

but what are your experiences from this,

i need to do this for extra space when i change manifolds/turbo setups as i have NO room.

pictures of ideas on stopping boost pipes blowing off please (JP did this i think?!)

i have a few ideas but please, post yours or ones you know of

The original MAF was never suited for a such application, and without a remap your AFR's will for sure be wonky in some areas.

Even with a remap, it won't be perfect. It might be good enough that you don't really notice, but as a perfectionist, I would not do it that way.

Thanks, but this is purely a shonkey stopgap untill the "winter" when the engines coming out for a propper build and propper managment (and a clutch/flywheel.... lol)

i just need to get a few external bits in place, like turbo / manifold fittment and mainly, weather or not to put the radiator in the boot and make it a purely track car....... now what i built it for

and the space is a propper struggle at present, when i fit the new manifold etc theres just no space, and since i run twin intercoolers theres no space behind the inner wing as i have the engine oil cooler and the first intercooler.

so no not ideal, but like i say, just a stopgap that will "do" for what i use the car for, not aiming for driveability.
