well, i went up to newcastle with the baby to see my parents over the long weekend, was ment to meet up with a few mates for drinky poos
but they were all woman-ish having just got back from blackpool that morning
so with the boy fobbed off to grandma and grandad away to seahouses or somewhere i went for a drive, had a play with an evo, encountered brake fade, while on a sweeping bend midway was a small yump that unsettled the car, i tried braking after seeing the Evo jump but was too late, and the front washed out and i just, just clipped a very small kurb, no suspension damage but i havent had a look yet as it drives straight and no wheel/tyre damage
but i think the force of the hard coilover settings and high speed caused an angine mount to collapse, crack the front pipe and tear 2 studs loose on the turbo, and when its on boost the gearstick is all over the place
the 300+ mile drive home to essex was scary as i had the boy in the car
ive been using the car as an everyday car since i put the motor in some 2 yrs ago, and it really could do with a few loose ends tidy`d up, and a clutch, and a set of coilpacks, and water hoses re routed, and and and..............
Will put a build thread up if you lot is interested?
lots of bits waiting to go on, brakes and suspension and the interior is getting stripped bare, free speed
*sigh* Uber reliable tool finaly showing its 200,000+ miles!
