Had to take the plunge and move on in the car world so have ended up with a 1.9tdi A4 avant (130) sline
- got for a really good price. (hence not been about for a bit)
Good car so far but one problem - When the car is first running (and it has probably been in limp mode since I had it to be honest) it seems like it want to go and then nose dives losing power (like when we boost in the s2 then get a sudden boost pressure loss). Have had it code read and it comes up with
1956-1 - inlet manifold flap problem.
Any ideas? Seems to want to boost but just dies - after codes cleared was a pig to drive for a few miles then seemed to settle again with it happening very few times at all 1 in 15 miles. The car feels overall down on power, turbo sounds good no other faults that I can find but the car sits at 90 deg at standstill and on mark between 50 and 90 on a run(tad cold?)
Tis a 54 plate in Mauritius blue. Liking it and considering keeping the s2 for a play car
