    She's bitten....

Currently sat on the side of the road...the top outlet of the rad snapped off and dumped all the coolant :banghead:

Glad I got the road recovery with Adrian flux now!

    New rad anyone?

I think she'll be ok, I killed the engine ax soon as I saw steam so it didn't run for long. Hadn't been driving it hard either...

            nope, plastic...

Think i'd prefer to just buy a new one and know its good. need to weigh up the options.

Home and in the garage now, adrian flux recovery is pretty good and hassle free.

got the rad out and it looks like a cheapo nissens one. The plastic top hose mount has snapped straight off...wonderful! Coolant everywhere!!

Think i might spend some money and get a good quality one, pete at QC said £185 so not too bad!

Not to be a spoil sport but why did it break there, weak point or did the system pressurise?
                          Lucky you spotted/stopped so soon.

looks like a weak point to me, i'll put some pics up later. Dont think the system is pressurising anyway

Couldn't miss it...the steam was a great give away
