Alternative part number - Crank sensors

After searching the forum and the internet I cannot find a suitable part number for the 2 crank sensors apart from the Audi N°'s. Has anyone found an alternative?

    Audi - 034905381 & /A for the 2 G4 & G28 (IIRC, thats the numbers... )

    cheers
    Mike

There is a PN cross-over post here (at the S2 forum) but I could find it faster at my home forum:

They are made by Hitachi, I could never find an aftermarket source for them either.

I did find out they are made by Facet.....so at least it saves me hunting for bosch parts!...

The actual G4 and G28 sensors are the same. One of the reasons that the PNs are different is G28 has a grey connector end and the G4 black so muppets can't get them mixed up at the connector rack (or at least they have to try harder and be colour blind to mess it up)

I did notice that in the quattroworld thread but as you can see from the picture one probe is longer than the other one....

                          am I missing something?...
