    Trolley Jack + Axle Stands

After trying the usual halfords trolly jack and it not fitting under my car (sure you guys have had the same problem before) and not wanting to spend an arm and a leg on a trolley jack that I will hardly ever use I started searching for a low profile jack. Found THIS and THESE they are not the cheapest in the world but £90 for a decent jack and 4 axle stands isn't a bad price at all. Last night I ordered them today they turned up and the quality is looking very good for the price easily got under my coupe and the 80 is sat on the axle stands as we speak (waiting for me to take the cats off). So if anyone is looking for a cheap set with decent quality might be worth having a look.

I got the 2T lightweight, low entry, quick lift jack from Costco for £90 after there was a heads up about it on the TVR section of Pistonheads. One of the best tools I've ever bought, I doubt there are many cars it won't fit under.

I think mine is 2 but it sounds the same otherwise. It doesn't matter, I don't even own a vehicle that weighs 2T so one end of it will never be a problem.

              Trolly jack

I have a 2ton low level jack similar to the one you found, it's a great tool for the money (it was a Christmas prezzie bought on ebay I believe) I used it alot when I renewed the rear subframe etc on my S2.

It might not be the best one out there but for the money it is decent quality so though I'd share.

Be careful with the costco jacks as my brother had one let go on him, luckily he wasn't under the car (we always us axel stands)just lowering it down but it bounce the diff off it. The pivot points also work lose so keep and eye on them, I've taken two back and didn't get another after the second one.
Just some finishing touches to do now
