Dane buying car in the UK

Hi guys

I'm buying a car from a forum member.

I'm picking up the car personally, it has MOT and TAX paid til the end of this month.

But when driving it through the UK and Europe via Dover-Calais I need insurance in my name on the UK plates.

Anybody have experience with this and where I can order such an insurance?

You can get temporary car insurance for the day or two will cost about £50

Will that insurance cover in France, Germany etc.?

Where do I order such an insurance or is it easier for seller to do it? If he can?

Type temporary car insurance in google there a lot of companies that do it. The seller cant do it you have to do it as it has to be in your name
