A friend of mine does rallycross here in sweden, and the tyres are ludacris priced. So i thought we could look in england and see what they cost over there. Does anyone know where to look? The sizes he is interested in are RX Slicks 9x23,5x16 and "grooved" slicks (you know what i mean, slicks with tread on them) ACB11 215x23,5x16. The cheaper he can get them the more he will buy (depending on shipping costs of course).
Wow, that's expensive... you can get rally tarmac Michelins for that price!
Aren't there other substitutes? I know they used to drive on Kumho's in rallycross some years ago. Perhaps Hankooks as they are the substitute for rally semi slicks?
Heard some good response from DMack tires, currently the 2nd used brand allowed to run in WRC championship. http://www.vandermarelautosport.com/pdf/dmack2012.pdf
Thanks guys, i will pass this on to him. You could PM me the nr if you want and i could give him a ring, but i suppose he will point me in the swedish dealers direction as i would think he makes money off them? PM me your name too so i know what to say when he asks who gave me his nr
