Learnt someting on my speed awareness course...well worth reading this.

Much to the amusement of a so called friends i spent my birthday attending one of these after briefly being distracted and being zapped by a mobile unit..the course was actually quite educational and even i came away with some some new knowledge. Anyway during a break someone told me about an amazing offer thats on at the moment where you can save 50p of each litre of fuel..as im a community spirited type i like to share the wealth so here you go guys and gals http://www.tesco.com/groceries/zones...trol-promotion you can thank me later
S2 + RS2 yep ive had a few love em... Laser red S2 avant... Brilliant black lhd RS2... Polar silver RS2... RS blau RS2... CheeRS Al

Could be good for the family but for poor old single me, that is alot of coffee/squash drinking for some cheap fuel. You need to buy £35 of Robinsons squash to get 50pence off each litre of fuel. Great saving if you supply Wimbledon ;-)

In The Netherlands it is up to the officer to deside if you have to follow the 3-day course costing around 700 euro's, so stop complaining.

A friend got a ticket for exceeding noise limits due to a crack in his exhaust system (audible, but impossible to judge by the officer, 93dB allowed) and because he was speeding (did 82km/h corrected / 50km/h allowed) forced him to do this famous EMG course.
Seems to be a new trend here, a collegue got the same *****e after doing 140km/h in the left lane on a 100km/h 4 lane trajectory, speeding local to any school would mean the same.

OK, so I need to run the RS6 down so I can get 75l in it...

10p x 75l = £7.50. Sounds like Tesco's will be paying us 50p to buy two bottles of squash for the next few shops! And the kids will be getting juice for the next 3 months

And with 2 young kiddies (and another on the way) - I totally get Tesco deliveries. A few quid NOT to deal with the pain of spending a saturday afternoon in a packed supermarket is a great deal!

Lee mate, how did you get that??? Or is it because vans have that lower speed limit thing going on with them?

Yeah on a dual carriageway with national speed limit, it's actually 60mph for a van. It was on the A1 in Lincolnshire but I've been through the same camera for the past 7 years at the same spen but I must have been lucky.

Makes me laugh really. A 2 tonne plus 4x4 with a massive center of gravity can do 80 and they don't bat an eyelid, but a small van like the transit connect or berlingo has to do 60? Loaded or not. If max laden weight allowed is more than 2ish tonnes then that rollocks applies. Unless it's a car derived van.

Didn't realise the cameras could tell what was going through them? i.e. I know you're limited to 60, but I presumed the cameras were just set for the car limit.

Was it that one annoying GATSO that I can never remember which bridge it's under?
