Your opinion what to look when buying an RS2

I think RS2Jesper is talking about the rubber strips at the bottom of the doors. The RS2 had different strips than the Audi 80. I think RS2Jesper is saying the ones on the car in question look like Audi 80 strips, not the RS2 ones.

Exactly!
They should look like the ones on the picture, they were exclusively fitted the RS2 and costs a fortune £500-600, probably why they aren't fitted the car you are looking at?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1345736913.457095.jpg

Not the prettiest build tag I have seen but it definitely is one from an RS2. The WAC, the 8C5 7K9 and the ADU are the tells. Too be 100% sure, look under the hood, up where there is a rubber strip that seals the hood and the engine bay, right side of the car. Pull up the rubber strip to expose the ARGE Audi Porsche VIN tag like the one below:

Location of the RS2 ARGE Audi Porsche VIN Tag
The ARGE Audi Porsche RS2 VIN tag is metal and rivetted to the bulkhead (firewall/water box) on the right side of the engine bay. Look under the hood, up where there is a rubber strip that seals the hood and the engine bay, right side of the car. Pull up the rubber strip to expose the ARGE Audi Porsche VIN tag. The location is shown here:

How does it drive? straight? pulls to one side? Clunks?
How does it stop? straight? grabby/pulls to one side? Squeels?
How does it shift? Easily? Grinding? Whining?
How does it boost? Do you see 2.5 Bar (or more?) Is there whining?
Are there signs of rust along fender openings and in front of the front doors?
Are there signs of body damage anywhere? Magnets don't stick to body filler.
How rusty is the undercarriage?
Are there service records? When was the timing belt and water pump last done?
Are the tires in decent shape? (If they are new, they could be hiding an alignment problem).
Can you get an compression test done as part of a pre-purchase inspection? This procedure is for an AAN but will be same for an RS2 ADU (including the range and wear limits, etc):

and you are.
the trimmings are 100% spot on, its just a color illusion that makes you wonder.
pity that the guy has replaced the black roof top with a white one instead as the original had perished. Otherwise its genuine.
Trouble is, that how it runs is not always easy to know, esp. if you have never been in one. I hope i can meet S2gr and we can take it for a drive, perhaps see how i can compare with my old setups.
I doubt there is any rust involved, as 99% of cars staying in Greece suffer paint problems due to the sun, rather than rust. There is barely any snow here to need grit, to cause rust. UNless the car was in a major crash and badly reconstructed, its safe.Comment

Does anyone have any experience with LPG on this engine, i love the car and it would be my honor to have it but with the petrol prices like 1,8euro/lt it would be hard to enjoy it like a everyday car , on the other hand LPG costs 0,8 euro/lt ...Comment

There are AANs and ABYs running on LPG (or CNG) so it should be possible on an ADU. However, that said, personnaly, I would NOT drill a genuine RS2 intake manifold for the additional injectors. I would remove the OE RS2 intake manifold and store it. I would buy an ABY (or 3B) intake manifold for the LPG installation.
Just an opinion.

Now you can get adapters for lpg injectors and you don't need drill intake. From lpg system you can get same power for low cost.Only one bad thing loosing space in boot. There are AANs and ABYs running on LPG (or CNG) so it should be possible on an ADU.
