I can honestly say I have met nothing but pure gents on this forum, and recently I have been dealing with a couple of exemplary examples, James and Andy....

I completely agree, the help I've received during my rebuild was amazing! Just hope I can return the favour to others!

and have got involved in a mini restoration project, which is really exciting.
So, even though the rest of the world is a sack of pants, I'm really heartened to have been made to feel so welcome by those on here and those who have helped me through cyberspace and who I've met in real life
There's a way to go but I'm confident that with the help and knowledge on here, I'll get'r'done

A mini restoration project on an Audi or a restoration project on a Mini? Only ask as I commute in a 1380 Mini 1275GT I built in 1981 and happy to help.

Friendly Forum.
I've found this Forum very friendly and very very helpful, I've only met a couple of Forum members they were friendly too. I've done more work on my S2 than any other car I've owned, quite alot of jobs I've only attempted due to the information and knowledge here on Our S2 Forum. Like some others here I run my S2 on a tight budget and have to carryout work myself as much as possible, for instance I've just replaced the heater matrix a job I would not have attempted were it not for a quite detailed "How to" drawn up by two Forum Members, thank you to them & everyone.
