Had a little run out today in my Ur and a TTrs came up behind me and started to bully me along..... first bit of dual carriageway i let him pull past about 3 or 4 car lengths.... then i let him have it... i was fish tailing as i went past him.... he might of had a 5 cylinder lump but its not as quick as my 5 cylinder lump....

I had a moment the other day against one of those new Scirocco R thingies... it was quite amusing really, because at speed it was quick, but short gearing of the wreck and 20vT was never going to go down against a newby... it was funny to see the distessed owner...

Fantastic love showing up the new breads of cars .
Always good to show up modern motors. At least it has 5 cylinders though! I went a drive along the dukes pass today with a bunch of people. I was a passenger in a 350z which was a pretty nice for his daily. One of the guys has a corsa vxr which was featured in total Vauxhall a few months back. Fully forged bottom end and a big garret turbo. He kept with an r8 on the way back for about 10 miles of twisty stuff then along the dual carriageway. R8 driver seemed to like it and gave thumbs up n big smile. It absolutely wiped the floor with all of us.haha. Real funny sleeper.
Yeah I had some fun today left a TT and a golf standing and then a damn M3 flew past but then realised when it came to the corners he was struggling but I let him have his moment also got done by a new skyline and a Porsche 911 turbo on the Penrith and Alston roads loads of bikes and some bloody nice cars out today
awesome, i bet the tt driver though he was great for about a second lol
i outdragged a new m3 (carbon roof job) from a set of lights in the 1.8t 90q a few weeks back. nearly tore the gearstick off forcing it into 2nd lol i gave him the hazards and obviously a big grin.. he wouldnt even look over lol probably wounded he just spent 50k+ and some shed looking old audi kicked his *** haha
Nice work! Especially as TTRS's are actually pretty damm quick by all accounts! Waiting for Audi to drop that engine in a nice car that's not too dear and they will have my attention!
On a straight yeah they can be had but handling wise they are light years ahead. The green tuned one at castle combe made mince meat out of all cars on track, it was like it was on rails

Greg and I chased down a TTRS at Combe which was running a stage 1 upgrade (400BHP on the nose) and boy that puppy could corner! "Like it was on rails" just does not do it justice - it got it's power down so damn early in the corners and was just so poised and flat with no wheel spin.
Greg and I were in my jelly-mould express on 16" rims (so loads of tire wall movement) and were coming out of the corners with all 4 wheels spinning!
Great thing was, however impressed we were with the TTRS, when we spoke afterwards, he was even more impressed that a 17year old car that looked like it wanted to roll over could catch him at between 1 and 2 seconds a lap

But they are light years ahead.. Well 30 at least.. Anyway a wins a win... If he wanted to push me along in a straight line and ultimately come second then I won...
