wiring advice neeed.

Trying to wire in the oil pressure monitoring on the 80 quattro (b4) with 4.2 v8 engine conversion.

The auto check keeps alarming with low oil pressure signal even though i have wired in the white/grey wire to the oil pressure switch (single spade 1.2-1.8 bar one) I have looked at a wiring diagram that shows the 0.3 bar switch has a blue/black wire but where does this wire connect to and how do i fool the auto check that oil pressure is ok?

The oil pressure feed on the 80 I seem to remember runs through the oil pressure control relay.

I also seem to remember if you supply a missing earth to the same relay it sorts itself out.

But it's over 2 years since me and Gaz was scrabbling round in the footwell of that...
