    New Battery

    With winter just round the corner my thoughts are turning towards a new battery !
    The one I have atm is not too clever anyway !

    My alternator was completely rebuilt a couple of months ago so any recommendations on a nice fat amperage one would be appreciated ?

    Ive got a little bit of ICE that could possibly be added too
    Leave my heated rear demist on quite a lot
    ......and tend to drive round with my fogs on (but not on the motorway)

    Fleabay,GSF ??
    For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

      If you know anyone with a Halfrauds trade card then the Bosch ones work out quite well as they've a 5 year warranty. Is it under the seat or bonnet?

                  It actually briefly dims my lights with all the above on when my coolant fans kick in

                  Voltage drops briefly to 8v then it will struggle to get above 12.5 on tickover !

                  Yes my batt is in the engine compartment
                  For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

                      Bosch Silver S5 or a Varta. You need a Halfords trade card or a Costco card.
