Whats it worth? - S2 3B coupe

Hi guys,

What should I be paying for an S2 3B coupe?

Spec;
J reg / 1991
Black
Full Leather interior
125K miles
5 spd box
No Tax or MOT

The car apparently needs a right good clean up although he tells me it's all there an it's solid underneath.......

Bodywork is what you'd expect from a 21 year old car, light scratches, some minor rust here and there and the paintworks dull.

New powerflex bushes all round last year

It's needing;
Front pads & handbrake cables installed (parts supplied),
Passenger door handle inside - needs fixed,

Unfortunately I don't have pics yet, but I will get them soon I hope.

It's worth what you want to pay for it, I'd guess around £2000-£3000 looking at the spec and what else is on offer at the moment hope you get a good deal if you buy it. Be prepared to keep spending forever

Get an MOT done at least before you buy

Make sure to check for leaks in the engine bay, pipework, search for any small tears, and most importantly go for a test drive and make sure he gives it WOT to see how the car handles it overall.

I'd guess in the region of 2000-3000£ is a good price if it runs well
