Race series suggestions for S2 Spec 90?

As a few of you know I have a 1989 Audi 90 that had been converted to 3b S2 spec. I started to convert it for track day use removing the terrible cage and seats that were fitted and generally lightening the whole thing.
I got offered my old Evo 6 back at a price and spec I couldn't refuse so the 90 got shoved into the other workshop and moth-balled.

    The Evo:

I popped to Oulton Park on Saturday to watch the Classic Sports Car Championship.
The Future Classics race stuck out due to the vast diversity of cars in it. I really fancied having a pop at the series and the 90, on paper at least should do ok. After contacting the race organiser, the 90 isn't eligible as its a 1989 car the with the engine and transmission from a 1991 car.....

So... Now its stuck in my head that I want to finish the 90 and race it.
Has anyone any suggestions as to a race series that I may be able to enter it into(other than Time Attack)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Paul.

Say it's an RR engine, that might do the trick :-) Or what about the 200 turbo?

The Future Classics rules state that the car must have its original engine fitted or the engine to have been fitted to that shape of car in that year (as I understand it anyway). As the 4 door saloon wasn't available with a 2.2 20v Turbo until 1991 and my car is a 1989 vintage it means I cannot enter it. No way I'm running an atmo 2.3 against 911's.....lol

Chances are, as the car is a bit of a mongrel it might not be eligible for anything.
