    My Jammer let me down!!!

Before lots go " you deserve it" the place I was caught is a two lane road under Leeds/Bradford runway. No pedestrians, no nowt just nice straight road to hear your car on full boost.

Popped out the tunnel on the brakes and the jammer started going mad so braked down to 30 and switched off the jammer. Rozza pulls out behind me on come the lights. I thought this will be good, they can't have got a speed until I turned it off. Wrong. 47 in the 30. great. My fifteen years without a point comes to an end... Slightly annoyed my jammer failed me! first time it has. I think she must have pointed the gun elsewhere than the number plate.
Got told off for German plates, no fine though. Told me I'll get pulled all the time with them on, no officer they have been on for 7 years...

Going to get my mate who is a traffic orifficer to test my jammer and find the weakness..

Just thought I'd share my joy!
    Rob..

Shame about getting caught, do the points expire after a while? Are they hefty fines over there in the uk?

Luck in Malta we don't have any of these things, only about 6/7 speed camers over all the island, 60/70 limit (km/h), almost impossible to get caught here, sometimes they don't even work

          Greece was even more funny.
          Crete actually.

I drove for a week around the island. None of the speed cameras worked. No one cared about the speed limit - they just went as fast as was reasonable.
The traffic lanes did not mean anything at all - there were as many lanes as there was room for cars.

The lane markings on the main highway were utterly hilarious, half the time they made a 90 degree bend into a brick wall.

I saw police once, and I had people making synchronous blinking with their headlights about 3 miles before the police came.

I am definitely going back. Maybe rent something a bit more powerful than Å koda Roomster next time. I don't think I have ever driven flat out for longer periods of time than with that thing and it's 1.4 N/A engine.

Same over here, we have one particular road on the coast, 2 for either side, the centre one for whichever side has the most courage

Funnily enough, the local planning authorities are going to fix it and make it two lanes on either side, sadly it will take them about 2 years to finish a 1.8km stretch of road, . That's malta for you, slow progress!

Just to avoid the pain of them pulling me and going over the car to "find" something else to fine me for.

Yes new ruling recently that they are legal. They couldn't stop them anymore as most double as parking sensors.

In Romania we don't have speed cameras at all. Only police cars have radars.
During the night the police only uses the radar cars inside cities or outside the city around well illuminated areas!
So basically when it's night you can flat out almost everywhere in the country as long as you're outside a city. A lot of fun!

During the day everybody is using mobile CB radio to talk to each other (especially with lorry drivers) and find out where the police is staying with the radar. I must buy one of those as well...
