I have been a fourm member since the the 90s and MRC where always mentioned in abundance since they where formed. So why is it that no one mentions them now. I have had my car mapped there twice, and it is in need of a tweak or two, now the engine has been rebuilt with different cams, lowered CR and otherthings.
Now the issues are fixed, and the car is running right at last,it was allways my intention to take back to MRC,But the thing that bothers me is the apparent silence. One minute its MRC this and MRC that, now nothing.Have they lost interest in the s2 or has the forum lost interest in them for some reason
Don't get me wrong,I have every confidance in MRC,especially in Minhea ability, but I feal I may have missed something On this fourm, which makes me wonder, should I take it back there.Or take it someware else.
The bottom line is,what would you do.

I'd take an educated guess that the market for the newer cars is just so much larger that the older stuff gets left to more and more specialised places or enthusists who can fix all the gremlins that older cars have, before getting them finished off - lets face it, other than mapping an I5, most projects on here have a large proportion of DIY, rather than dropping the stock car off at a garage and picking it up with 500bhp, like many newer Audi owners (with the money to do so) would prefer... ATEOTD, MRC is a business like any other and so they have to concentrate their efforts where the money is and I can't imagine that much of their business comes from the classic I5 market for exactly the reason stated above, however, I'm sure that they have not lost any of the skills or knowledge buit up over the years
