    B5 into B4

As title suggests, a4 b5 avant front and rear seats would they go into a b4 avant? Pretty sure the fronts are on the same runner/ mechanism style.

You'll probably need to fit the fronts onto the B4 subframes
I think James (RE2500) has B5 S4 front seats in his coupe.

Rears will be a lot more work I think

Thought as much, my thinkin was that most the b4 leather interiors I've come across haven't aged so well, I'd spotted a really tidy set of b5 leathers cheap cheap. I'd be happy with a nice set of jacquard Quattro script seats, but realise they're quite rare also.! Got the grills by the way, thanks error404

B5 seats are doable. Ive got B5 front seats in my car (its possible to swap the subframes, but you would need donor b4 frames) and Lee_Whitehead has fitted b5 rear seats in his b4 saloon.

S8 seats sure look sweet in the 80 there! How dyou go about removing the subframes? They just bolted on?

                test fit

seat pedestal is made, because they are from the Audi A8 and they didn't fit.the seats are electric so that was a lot of work too.

Go for urS4/S6 seats as Error404 said. Totally worth it. As long as both 80 seats has height adjustment, it takes few minutes, pair of screwdrivers and hummer to do the swap.

Do the rears also fit easily? The a4 seats seem plentiful thats the only reason ive thought of going in that direction.

They do look really class dont they, im just not a big fan of the light interior, presumably there is a darker harder to source alternative? My centre console has no place for centre armrest, is this piece swapped from uRS4 also?

They're much darker in real life. Armrest is attached to drivers seat as it is in C4's.
