Paypal requires extra information, should I supply it?

I've got this message from Paypal saying that I need to supply extra information such as drivers license number or so because I received more than €1800,- this year and I'm entering the €2500,- limit.
Anyone had this before and what did you do?

I've had that with eBay and they just increase it. So does PayPal it's to see if your needing to be tax vat on items your selling.

If you do not give them the info they freeze your account normally just when you receive a payment

About 8 years ago I had to verify myself with two forms... can't remember what I sent to them.
PayPal is a great company and are probably trying to keep people honest.

I think they have to do extra checks now due to changes in the law regarding money laundering
Probably best to check with them though before giving up your personal details

Just log on to your paypal account, if they want more info they will inform you about it when you log on, just follow their instructions. Not hard to do.
Never do anything by e-mail. Always go through your account, same with bank e-mails. If they need you to do something, it will be stated there.
