Audi 80 blaupunkt upgrde problem?

Hi, upgrading from the original stereo, blaupunkt to Pioneer. Plugged the adapters in no power, had a look and decided that speakers are the same? 8 wires in plug and the rest are the power? correct me if I'm wrong, I'm only guessing. I have on the pioneer, blue/black/red/yellow. The audi 80 b white/red blue/brown/blue grey. Any ideas which ti which? thanks

Colours in car radio normally are universal.

So:

- Black is GND ( Ground )
- Red is Vcc IGN ( 12v via Ignition )
- Yellow is VCC+ ( 12v via Battery / memory )
- Blue is ATT ( Electronic Antena )

Not do confuse other colours with output speakers.

It's usually the head unit 12v feed. If it needs a switched 12v feed the car doesn't have one in the radio wiring - there's only a continuous 12v battery feed.

You may have to swap some wires
