I have a dispute ongoing with a Car Audio shop that is driving me mad...
I left a Nakamichi CD 700 head unit in for repair allmost 3 years ago. Within a few months I found out that the workshop he sent it to had gone bust and so my head unit was a gonner ! I said I would accept another CD 700 (unlikely to be available) or a becker unit instead. Its now been 35 months and no solution
Any advice on how to proceed. I have been emailing, calling on the phone and texting but still no resolution. Last time I managed to get hold of him he said he had spent too much on trying to get a replacement that he was now looking for a cheap solution
WHAT A MUG I AM !
Have just sent a letter threatening him with the small claims court but not sure how it will go ...
Any experiences or suggestions.
